Child Care Supply and Demand in Rockland County
Child Care Resources of Rockland, Inc.(CCRR) reports supply and demand information based on school district. CCRR gathers information during referral calls to accurately document the demand for child care in the service delivery area. The majority of searches conducted for families are based on a child’s school district, rather than the town in which they live. This allows families to plan child care around immediately available transportation provided by the school district for a school age child and to plan for future child care transportation needs when searching for care for a younger child. Our report was created using data compiled from the NACCRRAware database between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. During this time frame there were 776 Active Clients with 85% of them conducting a child care search near their home. Please read the full report: Child Care Resources of Rockland, Inc.
