It is crucial to understand what materials, activities, interactions, and program structures are foundational to the implementation of a developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The workshop will define and explore the 7 subscales and the various related items covered in the Rating Scales. Participants will also examine the scoring procedures and the importance of unbiased observations to help learn more about the tool.
