What Young Children Learn from Block Play
One of the most valuable play experiences young children have in an early childhood setting is building with blocks. Block building stimulates growth in all the domains of learning and is shown to be especially fundamental for later cognitive success in areas of math and numbers. In this workshop participants will identify how and what children learn through block play and will have hands-on experiences with blocks.
