Behavior challenges after school are often the biggest stress points for staff. Afterschool teachers are often dealing with kids who are exhausted after school, big mixed aged groups, and limited staffing. This workshop will focus on de-escalating strategies, transition routines that prevent behavior issues, engaging kids who are ‘checked out’, and responding to Behavior challenges without power struggles.
