Are you feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Practicing mindfulness and self-care routines can help improve emotional well-being and assist in recognizing our own emotional patterns to help others. This allows us to proactively regulate our behavior in response to stressful situations like challenging behaviors in the classroom. In doing so, we are better equipped to manage our emotions, understand different perspectives, and help children in the classroom recognize and regulate their own behaviors.
