This pre- service series of classes is mandatory for family child care registration and group family child care licensing. It addresses the following contact areas: health, safety, food safety, supervision, statutes and regulations pertaining to child care, child abuse, special infant issues (SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome), and infection control. Rebates are available to pay for these classes upon completion of registration or licensing. Family child care providers anf group family child care providers who need training in these areas may also attend individual workshops or the entire series. Each series is presented by one of the following CCRR staff who are certified Health and Safety Trainers: Cindy Torres Bender, James Callahan, David Del Campo, Fia Hill Murray, Maria Rivas, Alice Rosado, or Edna Saravia.

Cost: $270 upon registration (includes $35 nonrefundable registration fee)
Rebate: $235 for those in the process of registration or licensing upon completion of registration or licensing.
