All Behaviors Communicate: Self-Regulation Skills and Social and Emotional Learning (In-Person)
***We're sorry, but attendance for this course is at capacity and registration has closed.***
All behavior, including challenging behavior, is a form of communication. We can help children gain self-regulation skills after we investigate what the child is trying to communicate. Let’s look at the possible triggers, the goal of the actual behavior, and the results of the behavior. We can then make our own hypothesis and begin teaching self-regulation skills.
